This is just a brief update, to show you just how much press coverage we have secured already for 2007.
As usual the magazines and celebrities are 'loving' our Levi's® Red Tab Girls collections. New! Magazine spotted Chantelle Horton out with Preston (from celebrity Big Brother 2006) wearing her 571 slim fits on a shopping trip. Chantelle even included them in her ‘Get The Look’ page within the magazine! This week the solid Henley Pale Herb seasonal pullover hoodie, will be featured in Shout magazine. The 571 Crisp white jean has gone down like a storm and will be featured in Grazia, Cosmopolitan & Cosmo Girl over the next coming weeks. On February 22nd Closer will be showcasing the 571 Brazen Blue in their ‘Get The Look’ page. Look out for the March issue of Glamour, which will include LEVI'S® VINTAGE CLOTHING's Sateen jacket, LEVI'S® ENGINEERED JEANS® Pencil jean and the Levi's® Red Tab Girls hot pants!
The new collections from Levi's® Red Tab Guys have been generating lots of media interest too. For instance the striped white polo was featured in Zoo, plus the 511 Prest Flat in Arena, 506 in Esquire and 511 Nevada Dreams, 504 Hard Luck and 513 Pure Black in GQ. There is still plenty more to come in Maxim and GQ Style over the next coming weeks, so watch this space.
Levi's® DLX Red Wire Jean was included the Regent Street Xmas Gift Guide that was distributed to all surrounding stores and a copy was posted to a customer database. Still to come are news pieces in Esquire and Fashion Inc this February.
2006 was a great year for the LEVI'S® ENGINEERED JEANS® relaunch and the coverage continues to flow in 2007. The Guy's Action Shaped Jean in Pure Dark was featured in this month’s issue of Maxim amongst the ‘Best gear to buy this month’ page. The Girls pencil jean has been very well received . Look out for it in this month’s Elle magazine in Pure dark and again in the March issue of Glamour and Sugar Magazine in the Powder finish.
There have been some fantastic pieces on LEVI'S® VINTAGE CLOTHING. First up was Esquire, in an interview with the Selfridges Menswear Buyer, on his style tips for 2007. Within the fashion shoot were the Levi's® 1955 501® Rigid. Don’t miss the February issue of GQ, that will feature the 1967 505® Claiming Turf. Glamour will also be showing the girls Sateen jacket ‘Owsley blue’ in their March issue. Already we have seen the Collectables Hat in February’s issue of Marie Claire and Tin bag will be shown in March’s issue of GQ Style.
Eco jeans launched in store on December 1st and has since gone on to receive approximately 30 pieces of press coverage (across TV, radio and print). This month there was a news piece published in Crack magazine, (Newcastle) within an organic clothing page. Grazia included the Eco product within their 'Levi's® store opening in Dubai' page and Health 24 featured it within their Eco page. Last week Financial Times (Business of Fashion) and Resource included it within their ethical fashion feature section. Red Magazine included a product shot within their 'Green days' shopping page in their February issue and Instyle will be publishing a piece in their March issue.
